Major Richard Pond (Ret)

Major Richard Pond (Ret) retired from the United States Army after serving 23 years. He served as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne and became a helicopter pilot. Richard taught ROTC at South Eastern Louisiana University and taught officers from many countries and nations around the world at the Fort Bragg School of International Studies.

After his retirement in 1987, Richard began his career in the financial services industry and the insurance business. Prior to joining Florida Retirement Solutions, Richard had previously worked as an advisor for Sagepoint Financial and American General Securities. Richard services life insurance clients and assists Scott Bovee with client contact as needed.

Richard recently stated that he is proud to now service clients, who are the grandchildren of his original clients, whom he has maintained close relationships with for much of the past 39 years.
